Who We Are
Our website address is https://authortkyoung.com. This is the personal author site of science fiction writer T.K. Young under his publishing imprint Different Futures Publishing, LLC.
What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It
We collect information in three ways:
- When you sign up for our newsletter or giveaways, we collect your email address and any other information you provide (your name, favorite author, etc.) for the purposes of email marketing and promotion about future books.
- When you visit our site we use Google Analytics for the purposes of tracking the number of visitors to the site, how visitors came to our site, and visitor behavior upon arrival. While Google Analytics does not supply personally identifiable information, visitors can review and control what data they share with Google Analytics via the Google Analytics Privacy Policy.
- When you sign up for Advanced Review Copies you are generally doing so through a third party such as BookSprout or Voracious Readers Only and opting in to our email marketing efforts. These services provide us with your name and email address for the purpose of sending you review copies, and their privacy policies are available on their websites.
How We Process Your Data
We use WP Forms to accept and store data entered on our site. Upon receipt, your data is uploaded to MailChimp for email marketing purposes.
Who We Share Your Data With
We do not share your data with any third parties.
How Long We Retain Your Data
We retain your data indefinitely, or unless you ask to be removed from our list.
How to Opt Out
Unsubscribe links are included in every email communication we send. To be removed entirely from our database, please email us and ask to be removed.
